You Are Here: Home » The 16th Asian Games » 2010 Asian Youth Rowing Championship begins

Dynamic GuangZhou and “Nan Hang Cup” 2010 Asian Youth Rowing Championship began in Guangzhou International Rowing Centre on July 20. Sixty-five boats of 11 delegations from Asian countries and regions will compete in 10 events, with 10 boats from china, the host of the Game, competing in eight events. The final results will be unveiled on July 22 and 23.

The Championship not only served as a test for Rowing sport in the coming Asian Games, but an important part of testing for water sports in the Games. It was said the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee would take this opportunity to conduct testing of Rowing, Canoe/Kayak Slalom and Sprint and training of technical officials.
