Ceremony was held on the morning of July 28 to mark the commencement of young volunteers’ services for GuangZhou’s BRT system in anticipation of the Asian Games.

From today until the end of the Asian Game, 400 young volunteers on the three teams will provide services during rush hours daily at the 52 stations along the BRT route.

The volunteers hail from Guangzhou Transportation Terminus Construction Management Centre, Guangzhou BRT Company, and Guangdong Communication Polytechnic.

“The volunteers will significantly contribute to the service quality of the city’s BRT system and make rides more enjoyable for passengers,” said Li Baoquan, Head of the transportation terminus management centre.
