Starting at nine of July 14, an additional 46,000 car plates will be available online for GuangZhou car owners to choose from.

The license plate numbers consist of five numbers, three digits ranging between 001 to 999, and followed by two letters from V to Z. Starting last September, car owners in Guangzhou can choose their license plate number online.
