The Baiyun Dusk Viewing Spot is located on Luosan Peak of Shanding Park on the Baiyun Mountain. It is composed of a sightseeing platform and a Dusk Viewing Pavilion from where one can catch a perfect view of the sunset. From as early as the Yuan Dynasty (1271 – 1368) it has been one of GuangZhou’s eight attractions. It is also renowned as one of the eight new attractions in Guangzhou. From there one can see the sun falding slowly, giving out colorful rays. As night falls, the moon is seen rising while the whole city is alight. It is really a spectacular thing to see.
It does good to one’s health to climb Baiyun mountain at night, an entertainment cheap enough for anyone to enjoy. So, every night, especially on nights in Mid-Autumn, multitudes of people are gatheed at the Baiyun Dusk Viewing Spot to savor their tea and to admire the moon as it rises.

?? By the Baiyun Cable Way: Baiyun Cable Way (Bai-yun-suo-dao) is on the south of the Baiyun Mountain. It starts from the Gu Sao Fen (or Grave for Sisters-in-Law) at the foot of the mountain and ends at the Dusk Viewing Pavilion in the Shanding Park, with a length of 1672 meters. The ride is one of the most spectacular transits in the province. Ticket price for the one-way trip up the mountain is RMB25 per person (entrance fee of the mountain is included) and the return price for one-way down the mountain is RMB15 per person.
