It is learned from the GuangZhou Innovation Base of Tsinghua Technology Park that after the completion of the first-stage project of the Guangzhou Innovation Base of Tsinghua Technology Park, the second-stage project has been started. Compared with the first-stage project, the second stage has a larger scale and more functions, and will offer more supporting services. After its completion, the park will become the biggest ecological office area in South china.

Zhou Bo, the General Manager of the project, said all buildings in the park would be constructed according to the National Green Building Standards, and efforts would be made to build a model architectural complex of energy efficiency. Different from the CBD office model, this ecological office park is surrounded by rivers and mountains in the suburb and the office buildings are located where there are high green rate, low-density of buildings, and zero-emission by the industries.

According to a scientific investigation, the office area will greatly improve the health of employees working there and enhance their working efficiency by 10 per cent.
