Canton Fair Overview
Canton Fair 2010 will be held in October 15th. It is another world gathering in china except the Shanghai Expo.
China Import and Export Fair, is also called “Canton Fair”. It is established since the spring of 1959. Canton Fair is held by chinese Commerce Department of GuangZhou government in spring and autumn every year. Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trade fair which is long history, Top level, widest extent, most businessmen, with the most all-sided sorts of goods and the best effect of reaching a deal.
Canton Fair consists of 48 trading groups, and has thousands of enterprises, foreign trade companies and research institutes which are fully reinforced and standing well. The ways of trade in Canton Fair are flexible and various, including the traditional trade and the web marketing trade. It does the export trade primary and makes diverse economic technology cooperation and communication. The businessmen from all over the world will get together in Guangzhou, communicate, cooperate and promote friendship.
108th Canton Fair Information
Phase 1: October 15 – 19, 2010 (9:30 – 18:00)
Phase 2: October 23 – 27, 2010 (9:30 – 18:00)
Phase 3: October 31 – November 4, 2010 (9:30 – 18:00)
Fair Location: China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex (380 Yuejiang Central Road, zhuhai Area, Guangzhou, China)
The export exhibition zone classifies 15 types of goods, and set up 50 specialized exhibition rooms. This period of Canton Fair has 56,302 exhibition dots and covers 1,115,000 square meters land. There are 22,960 enterprises of China join the fair. Apparently, the number of Chinese companies is 1,026 more than the last period of Canton Fair. Phase one, there will be 8,241 enterprises exhibit, phase two is 6,884, and phase three is 7,835.
Canton Fair Transportation
The New Baiyun (White Could) International Airport has very convenient transportation. It takes only 20 minutes from the downtown to the airport. Taking a taxi is the best choice, but it costs 150 RMB. If you are in a budget, you can take a public bus.
Public bus and subway:
1. Bus No. 6 is the non-storp bus to Tianhe City Station on Tianhe East 1st Road.
2. Walk out of the transportation center and turn right, go straightly for about 200 meters, enter Tiyu (Sports) West Road Subway Station at the crossroads. Take subway Line 3 to Kekun Station. Change to subway Line 2 and go to Xingang East Station or Pazhou Station.
3. Exit the Pazhou Subway Station though the “A” exit. The 8th gate of Pazhou Exhibition Center is there.
Taxi:
It will cost you about 150 RMB from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to the downtown and takes around 45 minutes.
