Double Canton Towers Make Appearance

At about 7:00 a.m. yesterday (May 10), a shadow was seen closely above the Canton Tower, the long waist-shaped landmark in GuangZhou. A meteorological expert said the spectacle was caused by light refraction. The building is near The Pearl River and the moisture in the morning is high. Thus a huge cumulus humilis cloud was formed. When the sunshine met the mist, the mirage-like scene was seen.
