There are 5 metro lines in GuangZhou and service charges are based on the distance between pick-up and destination points: charges are RMB2 for the first four kilometers.

RMB1/every four kilometers from four to twelve kilometers.

RMB1/every six kilometers from twelve to twenty-four kilometers and RMB1/every eight kilometers over the distance of twenty-four kilometers.

Today, we will talk about Line 1. Line one opened in 1999.Line 1 runs from Xilang to Guangzhou East Railway Station, with a total length of 18.5 km. It consists of 16 stations, 14 of which are below ground.

At Guangzhou East Railway Station, you can Transfer to Line 3;

At Yangji Station, you can transfer to Line 5;

At Gongyuanqian Station ,you can transfer to Line 2.
