On July 26, the Foreign Affairs Office of GuangZhou Municipal Government submitted to the Standing Committee of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Congress, its report on establishing sister city relationship with Valencia in Spain and Buenos Aires in Argentina. According to Zeng Qingchun, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou FAO, he believes that future exchanges and cooperation between Guangzhou and the Mediterranean region and Latin America where these two cities are respectively located, will thus lead to a further strengthening of Guangzhou’s trade and friendship in those regions.
