The GuangZhou TV & Sightseeing Tower shall finally open to the public over the National Day holidays. Guangzhou Party Secretary, Mr Zhang Guangning announced this recently during an inspection to the tower.

The TV Tower shall probably open on October 1, the first day of the National Day golden week holidays. Construction teams and decorators have therefor only 45 days left to get everything ready for the grand opening.

The Guangzhou TV Tower will host a variety services including an amusement centre, an open-air tea house, a revolving restaurant and of course sightseeing decks on the top platform. Finally, an unusual Ferris wheel circumventing the platform will offer tourists a 20-minute panoramic tour of the city.

Entrance fees still haven’t been announced. According to previous reports, access to the tower shall cost at least RMB100 and additional activities will push the price up to between RMB160 and RMB200.
