It is a functional department of the Administrative Committee of GuangZhou Economic & Technological Development District, of assistant bureau level, consisting of office and business section (assistant section level)

(I) Supervise and manage the foreign trade activities of the enterprises in the Free Trade Zone;

(II) Examine and approve processing, transit trade and related business in the Free Trade Zone;

(III) Undertake the consultation, follow-up, discussion and implementation of the projects in the Free Trade Zone;

(IV) Undertake business invitation for exhibition & exhibition projects and project promotion in Free Trade Zone;

(V) Take charge of construction and development for import & export automobile and accessories market in the Free Trade Zone;

(VI) Coordinate the relations between Customs, Administration Bureau of Industry & Commerce and Administration of Foreign Exchange in the Free Trade Zone;

(VII) Undertake the work assigned by the District Party Committee and the Administrative Committee.
