Luogang has set up seven communities comprehensive service centers for households, by learning and making use of social management experience in Singapore to actively explore new approaches of providing government-based public services.

It was revealed at the 13th Plenary Session of the First Party Committee conference of Luogang District on July 20, that in the first half year of this year, Luogang District invested 31.38 million yuan and built seven community comprehensive service centers for households in five sub-districts and one town. These facilities are staffed by utilizing entrusted specialized social work organizations, who will provide 110 service items under 12 different categories of need.

In the forthcoming six months the Luogang District plans to push forward the settlements of key projects, such as the International Health and Care Research Center of Sun Yat-sen University, the HQ of Guangdong Tianlian Group, and Research and Development Center of Kingsun Optoelectronic, and ten projects in total will begin construction in the third quarter. Moreover, Luogang Distrcit is also actively pursuing 23 other major projects, including the Asia-Pacific service outsourcing delivery base of the India TATA group, to strive for their settlements in the district as soon as possible.
