Located in Zhongshan Silu of GuangZhou, Nanyue Kingdom Palace Museum has finally decided its opening day for guests: on Thuresday, November 11. However, it is only a limited partly opened premises, because some of the fire hall measures has not been fully completed, according to Wu Lingyun, Deputy Director of Preparation Office.
As the main entrance glass door opens slowly, time flashes back. What jumps into the your eyes is the Royal Garden of Nanyue Kingdom two thousand years ago, with the winding narrow stone canal meandering through, the fragrant forest, the green grass, the winding gallery and the quiet path. These will be the surprise spectacle that Nanyue Kingdom Palace Museum will bring to the public.
In the museum, citizens can see clearly the special display of a 5-metre-long stratum. Just right here, there is a collection of more than 20 cultural layers, including the Qin Dynasty, the Nanyue Kingdom, Han, Jin, Southern Dynasties, Tang, Southern Han of the Five Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing.
