1. Applicable Codes: Guangdong Provincial Regulations on Urban Real Estate Ownership Registration, and GuangZhou Municipal Provisions on Urban Real Estate Registration.
2. Applicability: Owners of registered properties whose land or structural particulars or owners’ ID card numbers have changed shall apply for registration of other changes. Major scenarios include:
(1) The property’s purpose, location, floor area or structure has changed;
(2) The property owner’s ID card number has changed;
(3) The property’s illegally constructed part has been settled and an approval of ownership registration has been obtained;
(4) A managed or leased property has been handed back to its owner.

4. Handling Agency:
(1) Properties whose addresses or owner’s card numbers changed, the applications will be processed by the Department of Application Processing, Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Transaction Registration Centre.
(2) Registration of changes in other matters will be handled by the Department of Store Housing, Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Transaction Registration Centre.
5. Date of Completion:
(1) Properties whose addresses or owner’s card numbers changed: Within one workday of case acceptance at the counter and issuance of the Real Estate Transaction Registration Processing Confirmation.
(2) Registration of changes in other matters: Within 30 workdays of case acceptance at the counter and issuance of the Real Estate Transaction Registration Processing Confirmation.
6. Authority of Review & Approval:
(1) Properties whose addresses or owner’s card numbers changed: Level 1 Review & Approval Authority
(2) For registration of changes in other matters: Level 2 Review & Approval Authority
7. Handling Process:

8. Fees Payable:

9. Notes: No fees are payable for registration of changes of property addresses due to urban development, adjustment of administrative districts, or other government acts.
