Shang-xia-jiu Shopping Street, located in Liwan District (traditionally called Xiguan), is Composed of Shangjiu Lu, Xiajiu Lu and Dishifu Lu. It is one of GuangZhou’s three busiest commercial center. Standing on both sides of the street are 238 stores of which Liwan Plaza is the largest crystal market in Southeast Asia and the jade market in Minghui Commercial Building attracts 40% to 50% of the professional jade dealers from all over the country.

As time passes, the street has gained popularity for its four characteristics: perfect Lingnan (meaning South china) Culture, unique Lingnan architectural styles, traditional Xiguan folk customs and its famous catering. While promoting business in Shang-xia-jiu Shopping Street, the government has repaired the unique ancient buildings named Qilou, in chinese, and revitalized some stores that enjoy a long history.

Shang-xia-jiu Business Zone includes Shang-xia-jiu Shopping Street, Minghui Commercial Building, Liwan Plaza, Shopping Mall, Cyber Mall, Shi Fu Plaza, Zhuang Yuan Fang and Hengbao Plaza.
