The 16th Asian Games “Youth Across Asia” Art & Essay Writing Competitions wrapped up with a series of grand performances staged on Sunday afternoon at the Beilei Theatre, Children’s Palace of GuangZhou.
Gu Shiyang, Deputy Secretary General of the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC) and Guangzhou Municipality, joined the Sunday’s celebration and awarded the winners of the competitions.
The organiser announced the top three winners of the art competition, essay writing competition and talent competition of two categories within the competition zone of mainland china and winners of the talent competition even presented their shows for the audience during the event.
Hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and GAGOC, the 16th Asian Games “Youth Across Asia” Art & Essay Writing Competitions have enjoyed warm responses and enormous support from all walks of life since its launch on March. There are entries submitted from different Asian counties/regions and the talent competition ranges from the singing, dancing, acrobatics, magic show, to cross-talk comic dialogue.
Grand Champions from the competitions will be entitled to take part in the Asian Games Youth Camp with other young elite from Asian countries/regions during the Games in November.
