Zhujiang Industrial Park in Nansha Development Zone held its opening ceremony on July 12, when eight key projects simultaneously held their foundation, completion, trial production and ribbon-cutting events.

Located in the geographical heart of Nansha District, Zhujiang Industrial Park is the new growth point of GuangZhou economy and an important regional carrier for optimizing the urban structure and the industrial structure. It is also a key comprehensive industrial park for Nansha Development Zone at this development stage. Zhujiang Industrial Park was planned and constructed in 2005. Up to now, 2.45 square kilometers of core area has been equipped with perfect municipal facilities covering water supply, electricity supply, roads, drainage system, sewage disposal system, gas and telecommunications.
　
Zhujiang Industrial Park has already attracted more than 20 investment projects including Midea, TDK, CSSC and Borouge. The investors came from more than 10 countries and regions like the United States, Germany and the Netherlands. Many industries are involved, such as household appliances, motor vehicles, ships, biopharmaceuticals, auto parts, ship accessories, fire equipment, metal products, plastic products and optical glass.
